I just bought a cheapo juicer to give the idea a try. I got this recipe out of a book that I could not find at Amazon though… Do I get any points for that.
The name of the book is “Fitness Food: The Essential Guide to Eating Well and Performing Better” by Murdoch Books.
Ingredients:
- 1 Kg of carrots
- 10 apricots, seeds removed
- 4 large nectarines, seeds removed
- ice
- lemon slices
Preparation:
OK here is the hard part… Juice the carrots, apricots and nectarines together. Serve on ice with the lemon slices. I actually skipped the lemon slices.
I’d like to say that it is my favorite, but I’m just getting started with this stuff…
